Audio Gear Prices (“we”, “the site”) is a read-only product comparison site. We do not sell products, do not require accounts, and do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or other personal information directly. This document explains the limited data the site does process.

Information we do not collect

• No account registration, no passwords, no profile data.
• No payment data — checkout always happens on Amazon.
• No newsletter signups, no email harvesting, no contact forms beyond a direct mailto: link.

Local browser storage

The following are stored only inside your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to our servers:

• Theme preference (light/dark) for next visit.
• Favorites list, used by the /favorites page to remember products you saved.

Clearing your browser storage removes both at any time.

Analytics

We use three analytics tools to understand which pages and products are useful. None of them collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information from you:

• Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless page-view counts (Vercel privacy).
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and behavior data, with IP-anonymization defaults (Google privacy).
• Simple Analytics — privacy-first, cookieless, GDPR-compliant traffic counter (Simple Analytics privacy).

Affiliate tracking

When you click an Amazon product link on this site, your browser is forwarded to Amazon with an Associates tracking tag (sercansolmaz-20) and, when applicable, an Amazon OneLink localizer that routes international visitors to their nearest Amazon store. Amazon may set its own cookies and process information per its Privacy Notice. If you complete a purchase on Amazon after clicking through, this site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Cookies

The only cookies set by this site come from the analytics and Amazon-tracking tools listed above. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad networks. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies through their settings.

Children’s privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not store personal information on our servers, there is generally no record to retrieve, correct, or delete. For requests relating to data processed by Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, Simple Analytics, or Amazon, please contact those providers directly. For anything else, reach us via the contact page.

When this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page is revised. Material changes will be reflected here without prior notice.
