After measuring a room and generating correction filters, the result is saved as a calibration profile. This profile contains: the measured frequency/phase response, the target curve, and the correction filter settings. You can have multiple profiles for different listening positions, speaker configurations, or preferences (flat for mixing, house curve for enjoyment).
Most room correction software (Sonarworks, Dirac, IK Multimedia ARC) supports multiple profiles. Switching between a 'mixing' profile (flat) and 'listening' profile (with bass boost) is common.
